Our commitment to transparency

Trust starts with figures that can be explained. We do not create fictional donors, payments, emergencies or outcomes.

What each figure means

Raised: contributions confirmed by PayPal minus refunds and reversals. Processing: transactions awaiting confirmation; they are not part of the amount raised. Fees: amounts reported by the payment processor.

Delivered: funds recorded as delivered to the beneficiary. Expenses: documented use, distinguishing payments made by the platform from payments using funds already delivered. Balance: amount raised minus fees, disbursements and expenses paid directly by the platform. Beneficiary expenses are not subtracted twice.

Verification and documents

Verified means an administrator has recorded a review of identity, consent, medical documentation, beneficiary and payment method. It is not a guarantee of recovery or an independent medical certification. Cases that have not completed this process are marked unverified or under review.

Receipts are published when personal information has been protected. Keeping a document private does not justify inventing its existence or recording a review that did not take place.

Changes to the goal

Goals only change through an administrative decision with a recorded reason. Payments never change the goal automatically.
